Effective January 12, 2021, MLabs will offer C1Q Complement, Functional (C1QFX) testing via Mayo Medical Laboratories.

 

Specimen Collection: Patient must be fasting at time of collection. Collect approximately 3 mL of whole blood in a red top vacutainer. Centrifuge refrigerated and aliquot 1 mL of serum into a plastic vial. Freeze immediately.

 

Methodology: Automated Liposome Lysis Assay

 

Analytic Time:  2 – 5 days; Set up: Mon-Fri

 

Reference Range: 34-63 U/mL
