On December 7, 2020 MLabs will offer Breast Carcinoma-Associated Antigen (CA27.29) [2729] testing in-house.

 

Test Usage: The Breast Carcinoma-Associated Antigen (CA27.29) assay is intended for use as an aid in monitoring patients previously treated for Stage II or Stage III breast cancer. It is also intended for use as an aid in the management of breast cancer patients with metastatic disease by monitoring the progression or regression of disease in response to treatment.

 

Collection Instructions: Collect approximately 3 mL of whole blood in a serum separator tube (SST). Centrifuge and aliquot the serum into a plastic vial within 2 hours of collection. Ship the specimen frozen.

 

Methodology:  Chemiluminescent Immunoassay

 

Analytic Time: 2-3 days

 

Reference Range: Age 18 and over 0-38 U/mL
