Effective March 3, 2020, Blastomyces Antigen (FBLAS) will become obsolete and replaced by MVista Blastomyces Quantitative Antigen, Serum (FBMS) per Mayo Medical Laboratories due to a change at MiraVista Diagnositics.

 

Collection Instructions: Collect approximately 5 mL of whole blood in a serum separator or red top vacutainer. Centrifuge specimen and aliquot serum into a plastic vial and ship the specimen refrigerated.
