Effective November 4, 2019, MLabs will no longer offer the Francisella Tularensis Antibody (FRANC) test due to the test becoming obsolete at Mayo Medical Laboratories. Mayo will be replacing this test with a different methodology. Please see below.

Collection Instructions:  Please collect approximately 2mL of whole blood in a serum separator or red top vacutainer. Centrifuge the specimen and aliquot the serum into a plastic vial. Ship the serum refrigerated (preferred) or frozen.

Methodology: Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent (ELISA)

Analysis/ Turnaround Time: Tuesday and Thursday/ 1 day analytic time
