Phadia ImmunoCAP System Fluorescence Enzyme Immunoassay (FEIA)
Allergy Testing. The multiallergen IgE antibody test, combined with measurement of IgE in serum, is a very sensitive first-order test for allergic disease.
< 0.35 kU/L. A pooled reagent is used for each panel; a single non-specific result will be reported for each panel.

Specimen Requirements
Collect specimen in an SST or red top tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and refrigerate for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage. The desired allergen(s) must be specified; see the MLabs Allergen Requisition availalble online at https://mlabs.umich.edu/media/157 or contact the MLabs Client Services Center for a listing of available allergens.
