Specimen Requirements

Collection

Collect specimen in a lavender top tube Monday - Thursday only. Send intact EDTA whole blood at room temperature. Must be received by Cincinnati Children's Hospital within 24 hours of collection. Alternatively, centrifuge, aliquot plasma into a plastic vial and freeze.
