Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH)

Test Usage

A neoplastic clone is detected when the percent of cells with an abnormality exceeds the normal reference range for any given probe. This test should not be used to track the progress of disease.

Specimen Requirements


Collect bone marrow in a green top (sodium heparin) tube. Invert several times to mix. Store and transport at room temperature.
