Indirect Immunofluorescence

Test Usage

Detection of circulating anti-neutrophil antibodies in suspected cases of autoimmune neutropenia. The work-up of individuals having febrile, nonhemolytic transfusion reactions.

Negative (reported as positive or negative).

Specimen Requirements

Collection Onsite

Please include a copy of patient's current WBC as well as ordering physician name and telephone number.

Collection Offsite

Collect specimen in a red top tube; do not use SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and refrigerate or freeze.
