Specimen Requirements

Collection Onsite

Collect specimen in 2 (or 1) EDTA PPT tube provided in Tai Diagnostics kit. Immediately WALK the kit to Specimen Processing. It must be passed immediately to sendouts. Processing of the tubes must take place within 2 hours of collection.

Collection Offsite

Cannot be collected off site

Normal Volume
17 mL EDTA PPT tubes (2 x 8.5 mL tubes) based on patient weight
Minimum Volume
8.5 mL EDTA PPT tube (1 tube)
