Reference Range

> or =16 years: 0.1-1.3 mcg/g creatinine. Reference values have not been established for patients that are <16 years of age.

Specimen Requirements

Collection Onsite

Urine container should not have a metal cap, or glued insert. Collection must take place prior to or 48 hours after administering gadolinium-containing contrast media.

Collection Offsite

Collect urine in a clean, plastic container with no metal cap or glued insert and no preservative. Collection must take place prior to or 48 hours after administering gadolinium-containing contrast media.
