Kinetic Immunoassay (KIMS)

Test Usage

Detection of abused drugs: amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cannabinoids, cocaine metabolites, opiates, and oxycodone.

Reference Range

Negative. Threshold cut off levels: Amphetamines 1000 ng/mL; Barbiturates 200 ng/mL; Benzodiazepines 100 ng/mL Cannabinoids 50 ng/mL; Cocaine metabolites 300 ng/mL; Opiates 300 ng/mL; Oxycodone 100 ng/mL.

Specimen Requirements

Collection Onsite

Specimen container MUST be labeled with collection date and time. Note that Chain of Custody specimens cannot be collected at MLabs Blood Drawing sites.

Collection Offsite

Collect random urine specimen. Refrigerate. Note that Chain of Custody specimens cannot be collected at MLabs Blood Drawing sites.
