Specimen Requirements
Collection Instructions
Collect blood in a lavender top (EDTA) or yellow top (ACD) tube and send intact whole blood specimen at room temperature; do not freeze. Include relevant clinical and family history.
Alternate Specimen
20 mL Amniotic fluid or 20 mg Chorionic villus refrigerated (do not freeze). All prenatal specimens must be accompanied by a maternal blood specimen. [10/06]
