Mayo Clinic Laboratories test ID QFP will become non-orderable individually and available only as a reflex to new test ID QFEVR, Q Fever Antibody Screen with reflex to Titer effective August 17, 2023.  This test will include screening for Q Fever (Coxiella burnetii) by Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) (CPT 86638); if the serology result is reactive, the Q Fever antibody confirmation by indirect immunofluorescence will be performed at an additional charge (CPT 86638 x4).
