REMINDER: LABORATORY INFORMATION SYSTEM (LIS) DOWN TIME
Michigan Medicine Laboratories (MLabs) will be upgrading our Laboratory Information System (LIS) on Sunday, May 21, 2023. The system will be down during this upgrade. The down time will begin promptly at 12:00 AM ET (midnight) and is expected to last until 12:00 PM ET (noon).
During the upgrade, MLabsCONNECT will not be able to send orders or receive results. Historical information will be available to view. Please use down time procedures for the duration of the upgrade: send completed paper requisitions and plain labeled specimens. Labels will not print from MLabsCONNECT during the down time. Please ensure all specimens are labeled with the patient’s full name (first name and last name) and a second unique identifier such as the patient’s birthdate or medical record number.
Scheduled auto-faxing of results will not be available during this time. If results are needed urgently during the upgrade, or if you have any questions, please contact MLabs client services at 800-862-7284.
