Effective April 5, 2022, the MLabs Chemistry Laboratory began offering a new test orderable CORTD which provides a cortisol test result with a post-dexamethasone suppression reference range.

 

Collection Instructions: Collect specimen in a red top or SST tube. Centrifuge, aliquot serum into a plastic vial and refrigerate up to 48 hours or freeze for longer storage.

 

Reference Range: < 1.8 mcg/dL
