Effective April 9, 2020, Michigan Medicine Laboratories is offering Platelet Refractory Consult (PLTC) testing. This test replaces the Mayo Medical Laboratories send out test Platelet Ab, Indirect IgG, IgA (FPABI). Collection Instructions: Collect approximately 4 mL of whole blood red top or serum separate tube. Centrifuge the specimens and aliquot the serum into a plastic vial. Ship the specimen refrigerated.
